Update the catalogue

This published site cannot store new photos by itself. Change the catalogue file, then publish again. Customers still order on Instagram. Online payment stays off.

From a phone or a laptop

  1. Open src/data/catalog.json.
  2. Copy one product and change the name, description, priceInr, category, and available.
  3. Add the photo under public/images/products/. Use a short lowercase name, such as rose-pot.jpg.
  4. Set image to /images/products/rose-pot.jpg and imageAlt to what the photo shows.
  5. Set available to false when a piece cannot be ordered.
  6. Publish again. The shop, product page, and bag use the new price.

Saving on the published site is switched off. Edit the catalogue in this project, then publish again. That is what customers see.
